AG-GROW FIELD DAYS– Emerald WESTPAC SUPERIOR BEEF BULL SALE – 10th July 2015
With over 80 animals for sale over many breeds at this year’s Queensland Premier Agricultural Field Days, stud breeders, Billa Park Beef P/L (S York), Blue Dog Simmentals (Doug & Jan Bradshaw), Clay Gully Simmentals (R & V Laycock) and Meldon Park Simmentals (RC & EM Skene) had an array of Simmentals bulls for sale. Simmentals had a clearance of 19 bulls from 21 with an average of $4,400 and the top Blue Dog Simmentals – D & J Bradshaw’s bull at $6,000. Rodney Pulford, Myola, Wandoan came to the sale looking for Simmental bulls to put more meat into his Santa Gertrudis , so along with purchasing a Charolais bull, he added to his truck the top priced Simmental 24-month-old, Blue Dog Simmental bull.
