Tennysonvale have been breeding Poll Simmental cattle for 28 years and their genetics are only getting stronger. That was shown this year in their third annual sale with the females reaching $10,600 and averaged $5,069 with 24 of 25 selling. The bulls sold to a top of $7,800 averaging $4,962 with 12 of 23 selling.

Carl Baldry said “We pride ourselves on offering our best cattle and this year was no exception. It was evident this year with the averages for both bulls and females increasing substantially since last year”.

Nobbs Cattle Co purchased the top priced heifer, purchasing three heifers and one bull in total. Spending nearly $35,000 in total.

G & J Vella purchased two heifers to a top of $6,000 for Tennysonvale Keri (pictured).

Notably, Graeme & Jean Smith purchased another five head this year, and they have now purchased 63 head of Tennysonvale cattle over the many years of association.
