A herd dispersal from SB Marriott Livestock, Kisandra Downs, Outtrim, saw a draft of Angus-Friesian cows with Black Simmental calves at foot sold to $2325, average $2033. Two baldy cow and calf units, not rejoined, sold at $2180 – vendor, BW&AM Pratt, Warragul South.

Doug & Jan Bradshaw of Blue Dog Simmentals “Red Range” Wandoan sold a Tremendous run of 2-7 Year Old station mated Simmental and Simmental cross cows. There was plenty of interest from Restockers with a grazier from central QLD securing the run. The cows made up to 258.2 c /kg and the heifers made up to 282.2 c/kg.

Greg Maguire, Powerhouse Pastoral, “Tindaroo”, Nundle, had the top PTIC cows, with his black Simmental three-year-old cows, on their second calf, making $2280. PTIC heifers sold to a top of $2020, for four pens of two-year-old heifers from “Keelendi”.

Elenora Pastoral sold top quality line of Simbrah steers to average 344 to top at $1,061.Eleanora also came 2nd with their weaner steers 2nd and 2nd again for their weaner heifers.
