Clay Gully Simmental bull sale achieves 100 per cent clearance, averages $13,492

Quality Simmental genetics were on offer at the seventh annual Clay Gully Simmental bull sale, which attracted a top price of $36,000 in Gracemere on Monday.

The Central Queensland Livestock Exchange selling complex saw a strong line up of 48 traditional and black Simmentals along with 11 Simbrah bulls on offer from the three generations of the Laycock families.

Overall, the sale saw a total of 59 bulls sell to gross $796,000 for a strong average of $13,492 and a clearance of 100 per cent.
