A reminder that the ABRI online transactions will cease at the end of February – this will give the Registrars time to complete work before final database extraction mid March. The 1st of each month has been Breedplan’s deadline so any data you put in by end February, will still go in the March run and available on the website.
No data is being “deleted” and no “extracts” are required unless you have your own herdbook software.
Members who are not currently members of Breedplan do not need to ask to stay with Breedplan. All your data is going to the CGEN Herdbook and any performance data you wish to enter from 1st April, can be done through that login for EPD results.
CGEN Login access will be made available from 1st April. You will be sent your log in and password from that date. Your login will still be your herd ident.
The Registrar team are all well versed in CGEN so they should be your first point of call with any issues. You can email registrar@genetichub.com.au or call on 02 6933 1214.
Any herds wishing to stay with Breedplan after end March need to let me know ASAP so I can give permission for your data to remain available with ABRI. You will then need to liaise with them for any data entry going forward.
How to videos will be released in the weeks leading up to the 1st April launch and will be available on our website at all times. Registrations and performance recording will be done through the CGEN login.
We understand that there are herds that don’t have access to internet services and we will continue to service those members as we do now.
