Results of the #Ausmectin Simmental National Sale

The 2017 Ausmectin Simmental & Red Angus National Show and Sale concluded this week with the sales results as follows:

The Genetic lots were put to auction at a dinner on Tuesday night 20th June with 150 people attending. Seven semen lots and nine embryo lots offered, one semen and two embryo lots passed in.

Semen grossed $14,960 averaged $168 per straw

Embryos grossed $42,360 averaged $1,114 per embryo

Auctions plus stats covering both breeds for the night: 1,702 catalogue views, 42 registered bidders, 60 guests logged in, 9 active bidders, 61 online bids.

The live lots were sold on Wednesday 21st with 108 bid cards registered covering both breeds. 11 out of 13 bulls were offered and sold to a top of $12,000 twice for Woonallee Mafia and Woonallee Matador selling to Alexander Downs of Merriwa, NSW. Bulls grossed $93,000 and averaged $8,454. Females offered 10 and sold 8 to a top of $11,500 for Savannah Zoe selling to Loaderry Simmentals of Londonderry, NSW. Females grossed $59,500 and averaged $7437.

Auctions Plus stats covering both breeds again: 2,242 catalogue views, 75 registered bidders, 104 guests logged in, 19 active bidders, 65 online bids.
