Ticoba and Savannah record solid sale

Wayne and Ingrid York, Karragarra Simmentals, Pangkarra, Emerald bid $24,000 to secure Ticoba 1390, a two-year-old red Simbrah bull from Matt Kirk, Ticoba Station, Munduberra.

Mr York described his new purchase as a sire with massive bone and volume, excellent softness of hide, structurally correct and had ‘meat in all the right places’.

Sarah Truran, Savannah Cattle Company, South Australia, donated the sale proceeds of Savannah Q097, a homozygous polled red Simmental bull which attracted $15,000 from Grant Hood, Redcliff Pastoral, Blantyre Station, Praire to the MS Society in honour of her late father Gary Truran.
